Here at Robert Bicknell Fine Jewellery, we are delighted to have been named as finalists in the UK Jewellery Awards 2023 for ‘Bespoke Jewellery Retailer of the Year’. These prestigious awards are organised by industry-leading jewellery publication, Retail Jeweller, and this is the third consecutive year Robert Bicknell has been nominated. The winner will be announced at a gala evening held at the Hilton London Metropole on 6^th September.

Robert Bicknell entered this year’s awards in early 2023, completing a comprehensive entry application, which was scrutinised by a panel of judges, recognised across the industry. The ‘Bespoke Jewellery Retailer of the Year’ category also included mystery shopper visits to all the entrants’ stores, the results of which are considered by the judges in their choice of winner.

“We are thrilled to be shortlisted in the awards for the bespoke category,” enthuses Robert Bicknell. “I love working with customers to create unique pieces they can truly cherish, so to receive this recognition is something my team and I are very proud of,”. He continues, “we are excited to be attending the ceremony, so much so, the team have already got their outfits ready. You can expect plenty of sparkles from us, including some of our finest jewellery pieces.”

The awards nomination is not the first time this year the team has had cause for celebration. In June, Robert Bicknell Fine Jewellery was announced as one of the top 100 independent retailers in Retail Jeweller’s Inspiring Independents 2023 list. This annual initiative is voted for by those working in the industry.

“This year has brought some very nice surprises,” says Robert. “It was fantastic to be named in the Inspiring Independents 2023 list knowing that it was our peers in the industry that voted for us. We now have our fingers crossed for September 6^th!”
