We understand that your jewellery is sentimental and personal. Broken jewellery or damaged jewellery can be an emotional situation. With Robert Bicknell Fine Jewellery, your piece will pass into our experienced and responsible hands and stay there, on-site, until your jewellery is ready to collect.
OUR ANTIQUE RESTORATION EXPERIENCE
Robert Bicknell was trained on London’s Bond Street in the art of meticulously restoring antique jewellery and vintage jewellery. Over the years, he has worked on all kinds of precious pieces, including high profile jewels belonging to aristocracy and the late Queen Mother.
Often, during the season of society balls and events, Rob would be responsible for restoring suites of jewellery – a special skill of his! Turning an extravagant tiara into a pendant, brooch, earrings and bracelet, and then back again, is a particularly fond memory.
We handle all antique jewellery restoration cases individually and sensitively. If you need our advice, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
THE SUSTAINABLE CHOICE
We approach jewellery making in a responsible way, choosing to reuse and recycle where we can. We invite our customers to do the same by fixing broken jewellery or restoring heirloom or antique pieces to suit their modern tastes. Let’s not allow these precious jewellery pieces to be lost at the back of drawers or at the bottom of jewellery boxes.
