From the moment he laid eyes on this fantastic 8.15-carat mint green tourmaline gemstone, Rob knew it would make for the most elegant coloured gemstone dress ring. In the early design stages, he imagined a grand halo of white diamonds and an elevated setting to lift the significantly sized tourmaline away from the finger and into the light. Within the halo of diamonds are pear-shaped stones and round brilliant-cut diamonds for shape and contrast. In total, there are 1.04 carats of diamonds here with excellent colour and clarity for a bright, sparkling effect on the finger.
The piece is finished in platinum with Rob’s signature polished talon claw setting. This contemporary touch has become a recognisable feature of Robert Bicknell Fine Jewellery rings.
