Our classic 9k gold T-bar pendant is available in your choice of yellow or rose gold. Matching chains in either 9k yellow or rose gold are sold separately and, when buying online, you can choose from different lengths between 16 and 22 inches*. In the late 19th century and into the early 20th century, T-bar pendants were used on pocket watch chains to hold the watch in place through a buttonhole – almost like a cufflink. After the First World War, watches were more commonly worn on the wrist and so the T-bar chain transformed into a necklace. It has been an icon of gold jewellery since that time.
